Two
I hold an eleven-pound miracle in my arms.
A little angel, sent from Heaven to bless us on the Earth.
He came not alone: no, and the two were so excited to come here that they flew perhaps faster than they ought.
They arrived ahead of schedule and had a bit of a rough landing.
Your brother is taking more time to recover from the shock.
Shhh, don't cry, darling.
He will be with you again, and you will teach him how to be strong.
And he will teach you how to hang on to the strength that you have.
And you both will help us to understand what this life on Earth is all about.

Is that what you think about at 2:34 in the morning? We have even more in common than I thought......
"help us to understand what this life on Earth is all about".....a tall order for such a small being. But perhaps that is just the point - only when one is free from the responsibilities of daily life can one teach on that level. And teach they continue to do. "What it's all about" is challenging, frustrating, sad, confusing, exhausting, and painful......who woulda' thunk? So why would we not trade it for anything? That promises to be the next lesson!
Thank you, 'Skylark.'
