Naiad wants me to blog again...

...and I kind of do, too. So here I am. I should be working on my paper that was technically due yesterday, and definitely due today, but here I am. I finished my introduction, which is nearly three pages long and currently one single paragraph. (I will have to do something about that.) And I was shooting for only six or seven pages total. Hmm. We'll see how that works out.

I don't really know what to write about today. It has been so long that I don't know where to start, owing as much to my feeling that I have left so much unsaid, as to my feeling like maybe a sort of new beginning is needed. Not that my blog ever enjoyed thematic, stylistic, tonal, or any class of coherence, really. Except maybe chromatic. Yep, that's stayed pretty constant. Visual format aside, though, the content of my entries has been fairly well scattered across the board. the Scrabble board. the multilingual Scrabble board. On a related note, I basque in heteroglossia. (shout out to my pal Bakhtin!) Where's the nerd crown when you need it?

Blah blah blah. Like I said, I don't know what to write about. It seems that my typing fingers (as opposed to my ordinary, plain-old, finging fingers) have decided on, nothing. So there you have it. Months of anxiously awaiting my next installment (come on, admit it, each and every one of you. no really. just the one of you) and you are met with nothing to satiate you.

Until next time.
